Co-Parenting Group

Sexual Abuse. There are few realities that evoke as much shame, despair, deadness and rage. Honesty reveals that the effects are far reaching into our present, cutting to the core of the soul and what we believe and how we relate to others and ultimately to God.

The Sexual Abuse Recovery Group is a 10 week small group counseling opportunity providing an accepting environment where past abuse and its effects can be safely discussed and current styles of relating can be explored and understood.

Jeanenne McCloskey, MA, LPC-S has long had a heart for those who have struggled with the reality of sexual abuse and will be leading the group.

Schedule: Mondays, 7:00pm – 9:00 pm, June 3, 2019 – August 5, 2019.

Location: The group will meet at our counseling office at 8600 Wurzbach, Ste. 1021, San Antonio, TX 78240

Cost: $500.00 (Cost may be paid in weekly installments if desired)

Because of the intense nature of the topic and the small group setting, participation in the group will be determined via a conversation with Jeanenne prior to beginning. If you register for the group Jeanenne will call you for a short conversation to discuss your participation in the group. This group is not intended to be a replacement for individual counseling but as another means to think through the issues of sexual abuse. Please consider your ability to consistently attend the group. If you think you might need to miss more than one week, consider participating in another group in the future.
